Archive Accounts: The highly requested ability to archive consignor and vendor accounts is on its way! Accounts that are no longer actively consigning can be archived and reactivated as needed. Archived accounts are hidden from consignor search by default but can be surfaced on the Consignment Tab when needed. Item entry is blocked for archived accounts, and Consignor Access becomes read-only. You can also configure how long archived consignors can view Consignor Access before it's fully removed. Only archived accounts can be deleted, and the same rules apply — no balance and no sellable items.
Price Display: Pair a tablet or similar device with a specific terminal to display live transaction info to your customer as items are rung up. While anything with a reliable internet connection can serve this purpose, we recommend a tablet with a counter display stand.
Account Merge: The Account Merge tool is now available to all stores! This powerful feature allows you to combine duplicate consignor accounts into one. Check out the linked article to learn more.
SKU at Checkout: Optionally display the SKU of items as they're added to a transaction — great for stores that lean on SKUs for quick item identification.
Consignor ID at Checkout: Optionally display the Consignor ID of items as they're added to a transaction for a faster, at-a-glance reference.
$0 Retail Alert: Configure whether you want to warn or block users from entering inventory with a $0 retail price. A handy safeguard to catch items that might accidentally slip through with missing or low prices.
Copy SKU Button: Copying a SKU just got a whole lot easier. We've added a copy button directly to item details and inventory lists on the Consignment and Inventory tabs.
Account Activity Color Labels: Available on the new interface — color labels now appear to the left of account activity descriptions on the Consignment Tab so you can tell at a glance what type of activity was created — no more running a custom report to figure it out. SKU labels are also clickable, taking you straight to the item's history. Account adjustments will also now show the user who created them.
Payment Date: The "Entry Date" on account activity has been renamed to "Payment Date" to better reflect what it actually represents — the date the activity will be available for payment, not the date it was created.
Custom Customer Report — Last Transaction Date: Added location and company level fields and filters for a customer's most recent transaction date. Perfect for targeted marketing to your best recent shoppers or customers who haven't been in for a while.
Donated Items Report: A new canned report that displays items that shifted to a donated status during a selected time period.
Category Sell-Through Report: A new canned report to help you gauge which categories are selling fastest — great for prioritizing what to accept and how to price.
Condensed Consignor Sales Report: A streamlined version of the Consignor Sales Report with condensed sales data for a quicker overview.
Sales and Transaction Count by Day Report: A condensed view of sales and transaction count data broken down by day.
Item Name No Longer Required: The item name field is no longer required at item entry. This opens up more flexibility in how item data is entered and encourages use of dedicated fields like brand, color, and size for better organization over time.
Expire Date Cutoff for Payouts Removed: To simplify the system, we've removed the expire date cutoff option for payouts. This was a largely unused feature, and its removal helps reduce complexity. The expire date column has also been removed from the payout view.

If you are experiencing connectivity issues with EDNA while using Google Chrome, the cause may be related to a recent browser update. On October 28, 2025, Google released Chrome version 142, which introduced a new security setting titled "Local Network Access" under Privacy & Security. When this setting is not enabled, SimpleConsign may not be able to communicate with EDNA, preventing us from sending information to your printers.
As a result, you may encounter a persistent "Not Connected to EDNA" message, with ongoing but unsuccessful connection attempts.
To resolve this issue, please watch the tutorial video or follow the detailed instructions provided below.
If you're not using Google Chrome or these instructions do not solve your issue, please contact Customer Support and we can continue troubleshooting.

Tag Colors: You can now set default tag colors by location for all plans! Choose a color to stick with or schedule automatic changes whenever you like. This makes adding inventory quicker and lets you “set it and forget it.” Check it out under Settings → Tag Colors.
